However, the most important thing that ever happened to me was that on August 13th, 2003, I gave my life to Jesus Christ!!! I realized that I so desperately needed Jesus and His gift of salvation. (Rom. 6:23; Rom. 3:10) Without His blood shed on the cross, I would face the due penalty for my sins. My righteousness is as filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) It is only by His grace that I stand NOT guilty before a righteous, holy, and fair Judge. I deserved to die and go to hell and spend eternity apart from God. (Rom. 6:23) Yet, Christ took my place. He chose the nails. He chose the cruel cross so that man could be reconciled to God. Because of God's overwhelming gift of grace, I was justified by Jesus Christ. (John 3:16-18)
I have a personal relationship with Jesus, and He is my only true satisfaction in life. Christianity isn’t about practicing religion or trying to just be a better person. Rather, true Christianity is knowing that when Christ said it was finished, it was finished! When we believe in Christ by faith, He will completely transform our lives. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Jesus Christ requires absolute abandonment to Him. There is nothing in-between.

I will not boast of anything, but I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. He is everything to me and without Him I literally would be nothing. His unfailing love is incomprehensible, and I'm captivated by His everlasting love. Everything I am, I owe to my dear Savior whom I so desperately need every hour of every day.
If you don't know Jesus personally, make Him the Lord of your life and surrender everything to Him. Christ will radically change your life!! Ask Him to save you and believe in your heart that He died for your sins. Nothing or no one can save us except Jesus Christ!! (John 14:6) When saved, Christ will change you into a new creature and regenerate You! Give all to Christ, and He will transform you!
It is in great anticipation that I embark on this journey called life. God has blessed me beyond measure. Every day I fall in love with Him more. God is writing my life’s story and I am so grateful that He holds the pen to my future. “Nothing in my hands I bring, only to the cross I cling.”
